David & Sandy Helms

Sandy "Cupcake" Fine Helms and David "Cowboy" Helms are fairly new to ballroom dancing, but participated in either social line dance classes or recreational dancing. 

Sandy retired from the insurance industry after 40 years. She is married to her soulmate and Cowboy. She has two grown sons, one grand-daughter, six grand-sons, and two great-grandsons. She is a part of a ministry that does missionary work in Malawi, Africa, where she's been eleven times. Sandy said, "I love the Lord, my family, and mission work."

David is the manager of Carolina Hardware in Marshville. He loves to golf and singing in the choir. He is excited about his first grand-child due in April 2020!
